1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy protects customers, infrastructure and the wider internet from abusive or disruptive activity. It applies to all hosting accounts, websites, domains, email and related services operated through Tanco Tech Hosting.
2. Illegal or harmful activity
Services may not be used to facilitate activity that violates applicable law, enables fraud, distributes malicious software, supports unauthorized access, threatens people or systems, or intentionally causes harm.
3. Spam and abusive messaging
Unsolicited bulk email, deceptive messaging, address harvesting, phishing and similar abusive communication are prohibited. Customers are responsible for securing website forms, email accounts and applications against misuse.
4. Security violations
Prohibited activity includes unauthorized scanning, intrusion attempts, credential attacks, exploitation of systems without permission, distribution of malware, command-and-control infrastructure or deliberate circumvention of security controls.
5. Network and resource abuse
Customers may not intentionally consume resources in a way that materially degrades shared infrastructure or affects other users. Workloads that consistently exceed the intended limits of a selected plan may need to be reduced, optimized or moved to a more suitable service.
6. Intellectual property and unlawful content
Customers must have the necessary rights to host, publish or distribute their content. Tanco Tech Hosting may respond to properly submitted legal notices or other valid requests concerning unlawful or infringing material.
7. Account security
Customers should maintain strong passwords, keep software updated and promptly address compromised accounts or vulnerable applications. A compromised service may be temporarily restricted when necessary to protect the platform or third parties.
8. Enforcement
When a violation is identified, Tanco Tech Hosting may contact the customer, restrict the affected feature, suspend the service or take other reasonable protective action. Serious or urgent abuse may require immediate action before notice is possible.
9. Reporting abuse
Suspected abuse involving a Tanco Tech Hosting service can be reported to billing@tancotechhosting.com. Include the affected domain, relevant timestamps and enough detail to investigate the report.
